I'm a Democrat in name only because I have to register that way to vote in the NY primaries. Coincidentally, Adams is also a Democrat in name only. He's a lifelong Republican who only changed his affiliation so he could win in NYC. He's one of my top 5 most hated politicians

I also like how this is the first sequel to not use the "Resetting the Status Quo" trope. I saw the movie at the theater on 42nd St. After the movie, I was next to some people who were discussing the franchise and I asked, "How tf did Walter Peck get elected Mayor?" One of them said, "It's New York City. We elected Eric Adams." π€£
