0.7 Contest!

We're closing in on the end of the 0.6 dev cycle, which means we're starting to orient towards the content in Manila. We've sketched out the ideas for arcs and additions to the existing material, but...do you have ideas? We bet you do.

How would you like those ideas to be in the game? How would you like to guide our hand at content creation? Give us the ideas, see the writing and provide your feedback and input? Personally curated content to your tastes (within reason. We do reserve the right to veto).

How can you be rewarded in this way? 

A little contest.

We're looking to see where Blue Swallow might shine in other communities. We'd love to have more support to the game and we want to know where you think those opportunities lie.

How do you enter? 

Go to your favorite forum (which might not be a forum...maybe its a website, community, etc, we don't know, that's why we're looking for your ideas!) and make a post advertising Blue Swallow. Share the link and a screenshot in our contest Discord channel and you'll be given an entry in the contest.

What is a valid entry?

• The post/ad/linkage (or whatever) must qualitatively and subjectively advertise and draw players to our support channels (like here).

• It cannot be f95 or itch -- we already know of those places and that's probably how you found us in the first place.

• It cannot be somewhere there has already been an entry -- we don't want to spam communities.

• It must remain up for the duration of the contest (and we'd hope you'd keep it up forever). No getting yourselves banned or deleted from communities where this kind of thing isn't supported; no posting for the entry and then deleting it; in essence: no bad manners, spamming or scamming. We're a good group and we're looking for good intentions...no matter what your intentions with Claire might be.

Can I enter multiple times?

Yes. 

We will also be giving an extra 'entry' for the most successful post (judged on our discretion, either by people letting us know they came from there or because there's a lot of buzz on that post/ad, whatever).

How do you win?

At the end of the 0.6 dev cycle (release of 0.6.4 -- the final release), we'll randomly select one winner from the valid submissions.

And then that person will start working with us on their content for 0.7!

What about all the other entries?

We want to ensure everyone feels rewarded for helping our team out -- if you have a valid contest submission and you don't win, we'll send you over ALL the 0.7 releases no matter what your tier (as long as you're on the Discord) might be.
