Hey!
Added 2022-03-07 09:29:49 +0000 UTCHey, guys!
Earlier today when I tried to turn on my PC I saw a message saying "please power down and connect the PCI-E power cables". Does anyone have any idea what could be happening? I spent a lot of time trying to fix this but to no avail. The video card cable is connected and everything was working just fine yesterday. In any case, I'll take the PC to tech support since I can't render without my video card. :(
The video card is an RTX 2060 Super, by the way.

Usually you will have a 20 to 24 pin connector on your motherboard and another that will be a 4 to 6 pin connector. I would check the second one. One could be loose. I would reconnect both. Worst case one of the voltages on your power supply has gone out or has weakened.

If so remove the cables for the graphics card make sure there is no dust or anything built up between the cables and plug them back in. If it’s not modular and the cables come out of the brick in a fixed position try different cables every psu comes with at least 4 of them unless it’s a very cheap one.

I'd try unplugging the cable from the card, checking for any bent pins or anything and then plugging it back in. Otherwise, it's the power supply having issues.
