December plans, and potential plans for 2021

Hey all!

Been meaning to make a post about some of my plans and upcoming projects for a while, so now is the time!

As some of you may know, I usually take a week off each year around Christmas time because it's my favorite time of year and because I just... need a break, aha.

This year, my break starts on December 23rd, and ends January 5th.

This means that during that time, the Secret Club won't be updated (though you'll see some posts around here and I will still be available to contact) and generally I won't be working on "work" art. (I may draw here and there but mostly my plans are to rest my drawing muscles/brain.)

What I'm trying to get done before that time is:

• Finish the 4komas for Chapter 3
• Maybe? Finish the rest of what's needed for the Chapter 3 book
• Get my commission queue to a reasonable place 
• Draw this year's crossover comic
• Finish Patron sketches
• Re-mastered My Master is a Naga PDF (book to come later, I just re-did the text to make it so much easier to read! It's so much better!)
• Español translation of My Master is a Naga! (will be free to read, of course)

And that's that! Doesn't seem like a lot (to me), but with how holiday stuff goes for me usually, this will def fill up my time before then. Today I plan on working on the 4koma and hopefully having those up before I sleep.

Cavemate is also planned to be finished for Secret Club members before December ends.

As of current, I don't have any solid plans for the next Patron-only comic. I have lots of ideas I can fall back on, and while usually I just decide myself what I want to do, I may take a vote on what to work on next just to see what people are interested in. 

Me and my programmer buddy also had plans to try and release the crafting/gathering system for the Solanaceae Epilogue update, but that just depends on how his work goes. It's still possible a prototype will come out for Patrons before the end of the year-- but if not then, then we try for January!

So, what's my plans for 2021?

• Figure out the entire rest of Space School and start drawing it! (This is a BIG goal)
• Continuing to update old Space School pages to have easier to read text (This is an issue with a lot of my old comics I am trying to go back and address!)
• Secret, unannounced collaboration (Tune in around New Years for this)
• Potential overhauls to secret commission tiers here on Patreon (to help with my workload)
• AT LEAST Chapter 4 of the Solanaceae Prologue completed.
• Chapter 3 book pre-orders early 2021
• AT LEAST one Patron-exclusive comic (only considering taking a break from this since I think most people come for Sola updates anyways, and because I simply need time for other projects!) POLL HERE 
• Potentially another fan comic (poll about that here) 
• Game dev almost entirely dedicated to the Solanaceae Epilogue game (sorry Lee's game, you will be my next big game)
• ANOTHER Halloween game for Space School (heh heh)
• Try to get this Patreon to a state where it covers more of my bills so that I don't have to take as many commissions, which means more time for my own projects! This would be huge. I like taking commissions but they also take up time!
• Re-haul the Secret Club to be easier to use and more mobile friendly.
• And then all my personal life stuff which I don't think is super interesting to write about here, haha.

To me, this list looks small but I *KNOW* I cannot add on more than this because I know it's a lot and many of these projects will take all YEAR to complete, aha.

I hope you're looking forward to all I have to offer in 2021! Chapter 4 of Solanaceae will be a LONG time coming, as it's gonna finally reveal Sal's complete and entire backstory. I'm also super excited for the unannounced project (Secret Club members probably have an idea of what this is, heh)

And yeah! Just wanted to give you a taste of some of my goals. I always have a lot I'm striving for, and it's very fun to plan. That said, sometimes plans change, so please be patient and gentle with me if not exactly everything I've listed out comes to fruition on time, or at all.
