(aka, the illustration I make for the amazing DAJ each month, who was kind enough to let me be super indulgent, hehe!)
I haven’t made a fully inked and colored pic between these two in so so long (mostly cuz I’ve been busy and out of ideas) and GOD it felt good to make one again.
I imagine this pic takes place during the last month they attend Space School (tho it’s not entirely accurate because spoilers) and they’re having a lot of feelings of excitement, nervousness, sadness, and just general nostalgic feelings for the place they’re going to leave behind.
One of the last nights they spend in Alkaline’s dorm room bed…they laugh, they get worried, they kiss and fool around until they’re done and get sleepy.
They graduate soon, surrounded by the many friends they’ve made and get to look back on how different they both used to be and all the bullshit they had to go thru together.
But, they’re happy. Really happy. and they get to go on together to college and farther to do some really important things and deal with an older cranky Dennis, hehehe.
And yeah. I love Alkaline and Zeggy. Their journey together means a ton to me and I’m really glad to have drawn a really cute fun pic with Zeggy’s tentacles involved.
Hope everyone is having a good June! My birthday is on the 26th and I’m hype as hell!
