August Patreon Reward - The Labours of Rostam

Thank you so much for supporting us! We are absolutely delighted to bring you our newest hunt, The Labours of Rostam. These are based on the seven labours of Rostam, a mythical Persian hero, whose deeds were recorded in a poem written over 23 years starting in 977 AD.
Normal sudoku rules apply in all seven puzzles, and you can solve them in any order, but the final three definitely have the more elaborate rulesets!
You can click on a Sudokupad link on each page to play the puzzle - the Sudokupad solution messages will lead you to a 14-character solution key which you can enter at https://tinyurl.com/RostamLabours should you manage to complete the hunt. To be considered for a prize (solving in a video with Simon!), enter by 4pm UK time on 20th August.

Never mind. I just finished the last puzzle and see the final instructions for getting the solution key.

2025-08-09 12:51:26 +0000 UTCI'm surprised no one has brought this up but how do you work out the solution key? The pdf say I should get a "14-character solution". I have 7 words and 7 digits. How do I get a 14 character solution?
