We are delighted to bring you another sudoku hunt constructed by Blobz, who earlier brought us The Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit AND Nurikabe World.
This one is based on Oil & Water - and the fact that they don't mix, and one floats on the other! You may have seen us solve puzzles themed on Aquarium, the Japanese pencil puzzle involving this type of ruleset. If not, prepare to immerse yourself for the first time in both oil and water!
We are so grateful to Blobz himself, and his testers (Scojo, Scott_garner, Sho and Timotab), for doing the work to create this wonderful pack.

I can tell you that I was able to color the entire grid with oil/water before considering the glyphs too much. Maybe try focusing on finishing that first. Good luck!

2025-05-19 08:27:15 +0000 UTCReally struggling to begin glyphs. I’ve placed a 1-9 pair in box 5 and that’s it. Can anybody give me a hint please. I’ve only coloured 3 boxes so far

2025-05-18 09:18:08 +0000 UTCA lot of people are reading this incorrectly, myself included! I originally thought it meant R9C1 and R1C9 are the same, but it actually means the line acts as the mirror itself, so R1C1 and R9C9, R1C2 and R8C9, R2C1 and R9C8 etc.

2025-05-17 22:44:25 +0000 UTCFor the parity mirror, is this pairs on the diagonal that mirror each other 180, or is the diagonal saying r1c1 is the same parity as r9c9? I am a bit confused by that rule hahah
