A Mathematical Crossword

Comments

I've got a couple of the cryptic clues and 4 of the numbers but I've broken the crossword, so I must have misunderstood something in the rules. Does anyone know how it's supposed to work for me to talk through what I've got with them?

I tried to figure out the P as it looked most approchable for me but none of possible results made much sense to me. But as I said it’s not clear to me if their supposed to give an actual word or not. If you’d like we could try brainstorming together maybe we can come up with something?

I'm in a similar boat. I think I've got the value of two letters but I can't seem to use them to unlock any others. I'm also confused about it saying some are unclued

Is it possible to get hints for the 4 cryptic clues?

If someone would like to throw me a hint or check my "briliant" logic here's my discord CuddleMeq#5768

I am incredibly intrigued by that puzzle, but I was struggling with it on and off for two days now. I could really use some help. I think I did -some- good logic, but i can't connect it with the rest in any way. I also don't quite get if the 26 base numbers are suposed to give real words or just a bunch of letters that make no sense in english. And what does it mean that some are unclued, am I suposed to randomly ignore some clues and put in ordinary words that fit the grid? I'm so confused.

Pretend the clues are an algebraic expression e.g. BOOTZ is B x O x O x T x Z. Then whatever the answer to that is, results in a 3 digit number when written in base-26

What exactly does "clued algebraically" mean here? Are the numbers to be base-26 encoded simply the sums of the prime letter values of the letters in the clues? Specifically, is there any direct relation between the letters in the clues and in the puzzle?
