October Monthly Reward: The Puzzle Hunt!

Here is the new puzzle hunt by Scott Strosahl. This is a wonderful collection of puzzles and we really hope you enjoy them as much as we did. Do drop us an email if you manage to finish and let us know your feedback so we can pass it on to Scott.
We will release a video (or two depending on how long it gets!) talking through how to approach it all for $3+ patrons later in October :)

Try checking out the other puzzles if you haven't done them yet, this may be one you need to do after.

2020-10-15 00:51:16 +0000 UTCThis might be too obvious an answer, but don't forget that one of the hints to the puzzles mentions that not all digits in the puzzle are actual clues! Clues that are not part of the cave wall should be ignored.
2020-10-13 11:18:07 +0000 UTCAll the puzzles have a URL at the bottom left of the page that directs you to a version of the puzzle on penpa that's already filled in ready to begin. For Light Up puzzles I generally just color the cells with surface elements.

2020-10-12 23:33:01 +0000 UTCI used color for the light beams and for Lantern placement I went to the numbers Tab and clicked the bold circle then typed the letter "L" where i wanted the lantern. I just used the plain font to write an X for non lantern locations. Hope it helps! It was definitely not simple though. Not like the software simon used in the reference puzzle video.
