We are hiring
Added 2023-01-19 14:40:40 +0000 UTCI'm excited to announce that thanks to all the new patrons we are now able to hire more people to work on Mastodon. So far, I've been the only full-time employee, so this is a big step for us. I know that some folks have kindly donated so that I could give myself a raise, but my priority is making sure the organization runs smoothly with all of the increased demand and attention. We're hiring for the Product Designer, DevOps Engineer, and Software Engineer roles. The Product Designer will shape the visual identity of Mastodon, the DevOps Engineer will take over my responsibilities in maintaining the infrastructure on which joinmastodon.org, mastodon.social and mastodon.online reside and help us scale it up to meet the demand, and the Software Engineer will work alongside Claire and I on the main product so we can get things done sooner. We've already received over 400 job applications!
On another note, some very nice updates to the iOS and Android apps are coming soon as well. You can find preview download links for both apps in this Patreon's welcome message.

Auch beim Einwerben von Spenden zeigt ihr zu viel Zurückhaltung, wenn das Gesamtsystem stabil und skalierbar werden soll, muß es mehr finanzielle Unterstützung von der Anwendern geben.
