iOS app progress report: Publishing
Added 2021-04-23 19:24:55 +0000 UTCI am currently waiting for the new Mastodon legal entity to be entered into the German company register so I can get a D-U-N-S number and apply for an Apple developer account, which would allow us to get a Testflight of the app going. Until then, the UX design part of the project is on hold, with all screens from the roadmap completed but with the expectation that once a real build will be testable there might be more adjustments.
That Mastodon legal entity part warrants its own announcement, but the summary of it is that I'm founding/have founded Mastodon gGmbH (gGmbH roughly translates to non-profit limited liability company). That process took 8 months since the day I decided to proceed with it. Actually unbelievable how the time flew. Anyway, I've got to write a separate post about all that. Now onto the publishing part of the app.
It's all pretty self-explanatory. I like how it looks. Especially like the progress bar and the success message when it's done, I think it's a nice detail.

Oh there's both a dark and light theme. It can go along with the iOS setting or you can set it separately in the app settings. I'm just not showing it here.

My only gripe is actually the same reason why I'd share this with people - it looks _so_ much like something else. However, it'll end up paying off. Good work!
