[Preview] Upcoming v1.4.2 Features

I am happy to present Version 1.4.2 of the TOTK Randomizer! This update adds a new type of special goal to the Goal Mode, as well as making changes regarding using glitches, and fixing some bugs to make the gameplay experience even better!

As I mentioned, a new type of special goal has been added to the Goal Mode - welcome 9 Minigame-related goals, where you have to either reach a Perfect Score, a Perfect Time or complete the Minigame on its Expert difficulty! Please note that the term "Perfect" means to reach the requirement for the best possible reward in the respective minigame, e.g. getting the Gold Rupee reward. Good luck and have fun perfectioning your skills in the TOTK Minigames from now on! Please take a look at the preview screenshots to get to know the Minigames locations.

As for changes, using the Cog Skip glitch no longer skips the forced environmental change at the beginning and when going to the Temple of Time straight away it gets applied as well because the forced environmental change at the beginning is no longer tied to the first terminal cutscene and instead gets applied in the Randomizer welcome dialogue. Also, a lost change from v1.0.0 where the Blood Moon at the Demon Dragon fight has been increased in size and is now visible from the start of the battle has been restored.

As for bugfixes, a crash has been fixed that would occur when the player completed a Temple while already having all Vows and a bug has been fixed where the player could not leave the Great Sky Island if the Recall Shrine was entered before the game logo cutscene played. Furthermore, a bug has been fixed where you would actually get the Master Sword after grabbing it from the Light Dragon's head later on in the save file and a bug has been fixed where the "Possess - x[NUMBER] Silver Lizalfos Horn" goal was displayed twice upon checking goals.
