Written by Jonathan Larson before he died from arotic dissection, his story is very touching. (Tick β¦Tick Boom tells his story, played by Andrew Garfield in the film version) He was friends with Most of the cast from the original production, who are in the movie. I remember watching it years ago with my daughter when she was about 10 and it made her fall in love with theatre. A truly great production and film.

Think an early version of a Succession type show where there is interfamilial struggles over money and power. Back when the 3 major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) ruled it was a very big and popular show.
