I liked the Nolan trilogy pretty well and I would say that they are the best objectively, but I have a special place in my heart for this one, and Bathman Forever. There's nothing wrong with enjoying things even if they aren't perfect. Batman Returns I think was too dark for me. But it came out when I was a kid so maybe I wasn't ready for it yet.

He was funny and sadistic, always wanting something that belonged to someone else. Nicholson was pissed when he wasn't considered for the sequels. He refused to watch them bc he put everything he had into developing the character for the screen.

The series you are now watching are the first 2, Batman and Batman Returns, then Joel Schumacher did Batman Forever with Val Killer as Batman, and finally there was Batman and Robin with George Clooney. There's also Batman v Superman with Ben Affleck as Batman, then Justice League. Finally there's an even newer Batman with that dude from Twilight.

2024-11-12 07:51:47 +0000 UTCThe Batsuit, the colors used in this bat logo (yellow and black), Danny Elfman's musical score, the Batmobile, The Batwing, and Michael Keaton's portrayal of Batman himself is what makes me love this movie so much. It defines cool. I was 10 years old when this movie came out, and it holds a special place in my heart. The Batman movies that came out after this were good in their own ways, but this one is special to me. The Batman, which came out in 2022, is also one of my favorites and is definitely worth a watch.

This one was from 1989 and there are 4 total movies in this series: Batman (1989 check-done) Batman Returns (1992 - best one) Batman Forever (1995 - good cast but Michael Keaton drops out as Batman) Batman & Robin (1997 - completely jumps the friggin shark)

I have always loved this version too with Jack Nicholson as the Joker, and love the aesthetic (How they made it look like a 1930s art deco blend with the gotham city design). While I loved what Heath Ledger did with his portrayl of him, I feel they skimped out on the "humor" portion and focused more on the psychotic side, which is fine. Jack gave me more humor and showed his sadisdic side via his plan with chemicals. I loved that.

He said on his announcement of the product that people might've already bought them, meaning it's most likely an everyday product like soap, shampoo, mouthwash, deodorant, rather than risking their life to look good, they'd take a hit on their looks/hygiene to make sure they stay alive till it got figured out what product it was.

Only thing that changes are some of the characters die but that’s it. I’ll bribe you to not do it. Your YouTube moderator blocked me from commenting on the live stream where I offered you $1,000 to not do it. I have screenshots to prove it. There are so many better series to watch.. you can’t do the wire without doing narcos & narcos Mexico, Fargo series, true detective. Those are FAR superior.

2024-11-11 04:07:17 +0000 UTCIt's funny you mention this being for adults, the reason I say this is because of this, when this movie hit theaters I was just a baby, my dad watched it the day it came out and my mom stayed home with me. On the day it was released on VHS it was my 1 year birthday, November 15th 1989. My dad had bought this movie and when he popped it into the VCR player my mom and dad told me I sat through the whole movie and watched it, and this was a big deal since it was the only movie I cared to watch. Anything else I wouldn't pay no mind to but for some reason 89 Batman has me instantly hooked. When the credits started rolling my dad stopped it and rewinded it, they said when he did that I started crying. Most people can recall when they started liking their first superhero but for me I've loved Batman for as long as I've had memories, especially Keaton's Batman (he's my favorite live action Batman).
