And yes BJ, that was Bono…Joe Cocker was the guy who sang “Come Together”…and Salma Hayek was the nurse who injected Max. By the way, this is ALL Beatles songs (not Queen or any other band). Great reaction.

2024-10-10 15:16:48 +0000 UTCAlthough I’m not the biggest fan of this movie, saw it once a long time ago, I thought it’d be the perfect movie to listen to through my headphones while I make a Mississippi pot roast on hoagie rolls for my family. I always feel like I’m w friends when I’m here. And one and two and three…. Play. 🎬 After hearing all the Beatles songs again, I found it put me in a great mood. Such beautiful voices doing their own rendering of epic songs. It was a pleasure listening to this reaction.

So many great songs here and one of my personal favorites "I've Just Seen a Face." I also love Sadie as as Janis Joplin. When my parents passed, they left me their record collection and it's just good memories when I play some of their (and now my) favorite songs. Fantastic pick!

2024-10-10 06:50:30 +0000 UTCLet it Be gets me everytime I watch this. Not many songs hit me in the feels tonally like that version. Another song that hits me like that is Florence and the Machine's version of Stand by Me. If you haven't heard it I suggest you check it out her voice is phenomenal.

BJ you were absolutely right.. that was Bono.. he made a cameo in this. Joe Cocker also appeared in it.. he sang Come Together. They took a whole bunch of Beatles songs and created a story centered around the time the Beatles were popular. I love their takes on some of the songs and all of them are phenomenal singers. The version of Let it Be in this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Makes me so emotional every time I hear it. You guys had the saddest faces I've ever seen you two have watching that scene. 😢 Anyways I'm so glad we got to experience this film with you two.. plus let's be honest.. Asia needed a break from the horror fest you guys been on!! Lolol 😄 ✌️❤️

I always thought if they did a biopic about Kurt Cobain the actor Joe Anderson in this film would be perfect.
