How I love them. But most importantly, I love sitting down and organizing my scattered thoughts into a half-coherent post. You'd be admired how much it helps me make creative decisions.

About the Alpha Build, thank you to everyone who commented! ♡ Writing is such a lonely job, and I've been working on this update for about a month, so it's lovely to hear your thoughts and reactions to it!!!

I'll deal with the pesky bugs and typos you reported tomorrow. I hope DashingDon collaborates and lets me upload the file to the game link, but if it doesn't, I'll wait a week and put the new link in the same post. I am so sorry about that inconvenience, but hopefully, all of you will have played the update by then.

Onto new things! I started re-writing Vallen's section!!!! I have the old first draft, but since I changed the beginning of this chapter a lot and have thought of a better direction to go than the one I had before, most of it is... wrong.😭

So, I've been writing it anew, although, of course, I use some passages from the old draft, but I'm loving it!! Vallen is so... Vallen. I don't want to give too much away, but this 'date' will have two versions, basically, and in one of them omg. It gets real. Finally. It feels almost wrong to see the Red Guard act in this way xD

But the dice are being cast. I'm kind of done with all the mysteries.

Other than that, I was going over the outline for the Book, and I think I'm going to change the first chapter of Book One. I'll have Romanus see Juturna's altar as soon as they enter the long underground chamber. Juturna is becoming so much more than I even dreamed of when I wrote Chapter One of Book One (literally years ago), that it doesn't make sense for her to be locked behind an explore choice.

The player will then choose whether or not they want to take her, but the chance will be there for every Romanus. I think I might even have you always look at it in your room at the Leaping Lion too — and then, every reader can decide if they want her in your pocket or not.

In that way, you actively choose if your Romanus believes or not in the old gods — or, at the very least, in Juturna.

This is very easy to change since I have the text already and only need to change the location. I'll do it after I'm done with Chapter 11 in preparation for the big Book One update.

And that's it! The next two or three days I'll dedicate to writing the Bonus Content for this month, but after that, I'll go back to Vallen! Rafael and the revelation of your new abode is after, but that's another scene.
