Hadrian blinks, looks at Teo, hunched beside you, and his face hardens. With long strides, Hadrian gets to the bar but instead of sitting on the only available stool, he forces himself between you and Teo.
"What's this?" he asks Teo. He's a head taller than the other man and wider, and you notice him not-so-subtly pushing Teo aside.
1) "Hadrian," you say, looping an arm around his shoulders. "Let me introduce you to my new friend."
2) You put your chin on his shoulder. "I was getting breakfast," you explain. "Teo was kind enough to order for me."
3) You drag your stool to the side, making room for Hadrian. "Grab the other stool, big man."
4) You smile, your stomach fluttering at his protective tone, and stay out of the conversation.
5) You roll your eyes. "He's harmless, Hadrian," you say. "I have it under control."

Hadrian lays a hand on the hilt of his sword.

In other news, this section grew exponentially so rapidly that I've been fighting to tie all the ends together. ๐ญ But I'll finally finish it tomorrow, so I'll write the Progress Report then โก.

I hope my characters in my IF can be just as lovable and come to life just like all of yours have Ana.<3 you inspired me to write my first IF to begin with .
