I also finished his whole section in the Summary, so you'll be able to personalize your relationship with our mysterious bard at the beginning of Book Two!!! 🥳
Of course, as the game progresses, these texts will change. 🤭
For the Lance-mancers out there:
To have heard his song and having him promise to play you another, you can't be romancing Hadrian or Alessa — you'd have to go out of the inn in Chapter Six and, if you were romancing those two, that action breaks the romance.
So, to see the most Lance content in this upcoming update — I'd suggest you pick the option to go outside and listen to his song in the Summary, which is only available if you aren't romancing Hadrian or Alessa or if you pick the option to break up with them.
You'll be able to romance Lance if you haven't listened to his song, of course! To see the jealousy scenes in this chapter, you'll have to be romancing Hadrian or Alessa, so, it's not necessary to pick the Outside option. 😋
But, the stats are finished!!!! Making the relationship texts and adding to the Summary are some of the things I most dislike, so I'm so glad to be done with this. 😊
I'm not yet sure if I'll add Mist to the character relationships, however. 🤔 Should the readers get an insight into how the underground crime lord feels about you? Or would that ruin the whole point of his character? I may just add him to the character profiles...

I love Lance and probably will love him more I'm sure as the series goes along. But when my Romanus is sitting that close to Hadrian and he asks to kiss her.... She can't help but melt when she sees those emerald green eyes staring at her so intently... She usually loses all composure and kisses him. I mean how could you not? But I can't wait to see more of Lance.

2023-08-19 16:05:34 +0000 UTCI tend to (perhaps reductively) think of Mist and Lance as a package deal in terms of their impression of Romanus if Lance isn't being romanced, at least for the moment, since it's basically defined by how willing Romanus is to do business. If Mist's opinion will change based on something beyond Romanus' enthusiasm or inflexibility, like maybe their relationship with the city guard or the present benefits of the partnership it may be worthwhile, but I don't think it's necessary. Speaking personally, the evolving relationship screen is one of my favorite parts of Golden Rose and I'd never say no to it being expanded!

Can’t wait for more serenades ❤️❤️ And to answer your question about Mist- while seeing their reactions to us would be interesting, I think it may take away from the mystery of the character. Keeping your character and the reader on their toes about this unknown character would keep some intrigue 🔎
