SURVIVING PURGE update #26

Hello sexy grizzlies!!

I’m here to give you some news about Surviving Puuuuurge! ^^

I can confirm that the next version will arrive in November! We’re just waiting for a last animation from an animator, everything else is ready on our end! The new version should be released around the third week of November, since the animator won’t be available before then.

The Orc District

Orcs see inferior humans as weak creatures… but so damn cute!

For an inferior human to be accepted in the Orc District, they must prove their strength by pushing a massive boulder up a hill. Many poor humans have lost their lives that way, something that never fails to make the orcs laugh as they hear bones cracking when someone gets crushed under the boulder…

Once accepted, inferior humans end up helping the orcs work in the mines. Superior humans use the Orc District to harvest the minerals needed for crafting weapons, armor, ships, and tools. The orcs are supervised by superior humans while working in the mines, since they tend to get distracted easily. Each day, the orc workers are ranked based on their mining performance.

Orcs can be cruelly immature... but that’s part of their charm!

Fun fact: at the beginning of production, the Orc District was supposed to look completely different! Originally, I imagined it as a steampunk, futuristic area, but it ended up feeling too similar to the Human Districts:

So I rewrote a lot of things, and we reimagined their environment from scratch.

Special Guest

We’re proud to announce that Korg from Lustful Desires will make a special guest appearance in this act! His design is still a work in progress, but he’s coming! 👀 A huge thanks to Hyao for letting us use his character!

Vliir has already made great progress on the Orc District, thanks again to him for his amazing work 🤗

After reviewing the script, I asked Vliir to create some new illustrations to add a bit more depth to Act 2:
