I apologize for not updating enough this month; I've been working on a lot of things, but...

I've finished the outsourced manuscript (I'm still waiting to hear back from the editor) and I've started working on this month's update. I was trying to keep it as short as possible, but it ended up with the same number of pages as usual.

The content is a manga set in a town with Mr. Icicle and others, which is based on the "turning civilians into fighters..." that I wrote a postcard about last month. I had a feeling that the situation would be about an evil organization... but I couldn't come up with a story combining that organization, so I combined it with a small story I had been thinking about for a while but had never published.

When I was working on the story of a young man who was kidnapped on his way home from a pachinko parlor, I suddenly wondered why young Japanese people don't smoke much anymore. Are they using electronic cigarettes instead of paper ones? I had an image of a cheerful young man smoking Marlboro cigarettes... (Or maybe he doesn't play pachinko slot machines much!?)

In Japan, smokers have been rapidly pushed into the corner over the past decade or so. I don't drink or smoke anymore, but I didn't like this atmosphere. If you start regulating something, it will spread like wildfire, so you can't just put any fire on the other side of the river. In fact, erotic books have disappeared from convenience stores. I wish the world in general would be more tolerant.

I'm afraid I've digressed in a boring direction. Let's talk about a dirty manga. I have been working on a compilation of the "Invasion Series," although it is a long-ago manga. There are no significant additions or corrections, but I forced myself to make an English version of the first part of the manga, which I had not been able to do yet. There are some manga that are only in the combined data, and there are some parts that were created by adding translations and meanings, which may be unsightly, but please forgive me...!

If I'm going to put it all together, I want to make a new drawing and a cover! I'm not going to announce it right now, but I'll probably make an announcement when I've forgotten about it. Hmmm, who should I draw?

今月もろくに更新できず申し訳ありません；色々やってはいるのですが…

外注の原稿が終わったので（編集さんからの返事待ちです）今月の更新分に取り掛かり始めました。今月は翻訳作業以外全部自分でやる感じなので、できるだけ短くしようと思っていたんですが、なんだかいつも通りのページ数になってしまいました。

内容は先月ラクガキをした一般市民の戦闘員化…を下敷きにしたアイシクルさんなどがいる町を舞台にした漫画となっております。あのシチュだと悪の組織が…と言う感じだったんですが、あの組織を組み合わせた話が浮かばなかったので前から考えていたものの発表はしていなかった小話と合体させてみた感じです。

ガテン青年がパチンコ屋帰りに拉致られたという設定で話を進めている時、ふと疑問に思ったのですが最近の日本の若者はタバコあんまり吸わなくなってそうですよね。紙ではなく電子タバコなんですかね？元気のいいあんちゃんと言えばマルボロ吸ってるイメージがあったんですが…（というかもしやパチンコスロットあんまり打ってない！？）

日本は気がつけばこの10年ぐらいで急速に愛煙家が隅に追いやられてしまいました。わたしは今はもう酒もタバコもやりませんが、この空気はイヤだなーと思っていました。何かを規制し始めたら野火のように延焼するのでどんなことも対岸の火事ではすまないのです。実際エロ本もコンビニから消えてしまいましたしね。もっと世の中全般寛容に行って欲しい。

話がつまらない方向に脱線してしまいました。すけべな漫画の話をしましょうや。だいぶ前の漫画となりますが『侵略シリーズ』もまとめようと思い作業を進めています。目立った加筆修正はないのですが、作れていなかった序盤の英語版も無理矢理つくりました。合体してしまったデータしかない漫画があり、訳や意味を乗せる形でつくった箇所もあり見苦しいかも知れませんがどうぞご容赦頂ければと思います…！

どうせまとめるなら描き下ろしや表紙も作りたい！となっているので今すぐ発表とはなりませんが忘れた頃にポロっと発表する感じでしょうか。うーん何を誰を描こうかな？？
