Reg had to ascend with Riko to escape the orb piercer, so she started bleeding. It had nothing to do with the poisen, the poisen only effected her hand. And welcome to the real show. The deeper we go, the darker it gets.

Layer Curses: 1st: Nausea and dizziness 2nd: Extreme fatigue and severe Nausia 3rd: Halucinations in adition to other curses 4th: Severe Bleeding from everywhere Also: Riko got hit with a MILD CURSE of 3rd and 4th layers due to being barely in layer 4. So If she was deeper GOING UP would mean just 4th layer but more severe. Hope This helps Nick!

They’re both such incredible voice actors I’ve watched this like 30 times now and I still get chills and shaky watching this. NOTHING makes me feel the way this episode does, NOTHING.

The curse is from ascending, ascending in the 4th layer is BAD bad. The curse somewhat helped at the same time too though, it caused the poison to be expelled back out of her hand and not spread through her whole body. But her hand was already screwed. 2 different types of hell happening at once, god it’s horrible And the sound of reg pulling the spine out, breaking the arm, the screams, god its horrific. It’s so awful But done SO well
