Yeah, I think it's way better than gun gale. Even though Alicitization looks nice and has good moments, I actually don't like it the most tbh. I prefer S1, both parts, and Mother's Rosario. But the Sao Progressive movies were peak! I think ppl didn't like just because the shift was so large, and they didn't like Asuna being in a bad spot. I'm assuming they saw it as an attack on her character, but it was written well, and it happened to others and made sense. It didn't make her weaker, because it was more based on the workings of the real world and I thought that was cool, and that the way they kept the stakes after the cool setting of the first arc was actually quite good.
