And of course, One pace cut the bigmom vs kaido fight. There are so many ways to improve One Piece's pacing and One Pace team always finds the worst ways to cut things with no regards to all the highlight and iconic moments.

2025-06-29 01:58:32 +0000 UTCbut people who watch anime don't CARE what -sama could translate to. they already know by this point in episode 945 of one piece, that it is something you use in giving the highest respect or status to someone. but for some reason -san or -chan, those don't seem to have a change in this so WHY does sama. It just makes it so much worse and cringing when it's - your awesomeness. And yeah, it get it "fits queen" but... It still just bothers me.

Which does not have a direct English translation, it simply is a title you give when speaking to someone higher than you. So, it could mean anything. And therefore, some translators use different titles, depending on the character and their personality, as to what it means. And no, it does not mean "master" which is what some translators just default to, "goshujin" means master/owner, and you would add -sama to the end which again, has no direct translation. So using "awesomeness" is not inaccurate, or out of place, especially given Queen's personality.
