Also, there isn't any new additional scenes this episode but looks like there'll be a additional scene with some of the fake Straw Hat Pirates and no, Haki isn't red lightning, but it indicates the use of some types of Haki. Armament is "black." The pacing this episode was way better than last episode. I hope they keep it like this and don't cut too much that would make the transitions seem a little out of place.

2024-11-10 21:00:13 +0000 UTCimo calling one piece a "comedy" is kinda undermining everything oda put into this story. to call it just a "comedy" is kinda crazy, considering everything in it. a comedy would be like saiki k, where there isn't really a plot. one piece is a funny shonen. although, a lot of people complain about one piece getting more serious later on. also haki looks like that, it just wasnt shown at that time

The reason why you are seeing lightning currently is because Luffy unlocked observation haki which allows him to see the haki that others use. If you dont haki is invisible. Think back to when shanks boarded white beards ship. As he was walking to white beard people were passing out and pieces of the ship were being damaged. Shanks was creating a lightning storm of conquerors haki as a greeting. At least thats the cannon explanation.
