But first, it's Hinata Shoyo Second, when Shoyo watched Karasuno on TV he just entered junior high. Third, The first official game he played was 3 years 3 months later. I was one of those tall kids who people thought I was older until they saw my baby face, and played volleyball for 17 years. I almost went to the Olympics but got hurt, and a lot of my former teammates are pros that are on the US team. Volleyball is very popular around the world and even in the US, though it may not seem like it depending on where you live.

2023-10-17 17:33:36 +0000 UTCi think it's just that he didn't let himself get too distracted like he tends to with other anime, which i found quite nice! especially since haikyuu is one of those series where if you don't pay proper attention, you can miss LOTS of important but also just fun little details, and when you're not that familiar with the sport, the explanations are very important. plus there's the fact that while haikyuu does have action and tense moments, it's not as "crazy" as other shounen and has more slife-of-life aspects, so the dialogue matters more

The endings are also worth a listen to as well and yeah, there's a lot of symbolism in Haikyuu here. The cape is one of that. Also, regarding Karasuno, there's a lot of symbolism with crows because Karasu means crow in Japanese. I personally think position of Blocker is the coolest.

Here's a fun fact: luck (From black Clover) and Hinata share the same VA, and Daichii (the captain of Karasuno) shares the same VA with Rengoku! As the series continues, there will be a TON of overlap with JJK, Demon Slayer, MHA, etc VA so keep your ears out for some familiar voices :)

By the way, the girl with glasses/spectacles, her name is Shimizu, and she is also a student of Karasuno and the volleyball team's manager. Team managers role is to help the team players such as preparing the water/drinks/towels while the players train or play a game, take notes on their progress and assist the volleyball club advisor(who is a teacher in charge of the sports club) or coach. Just a bit of explanation since I'm not sure if your country's schools have team managers in your school sports club.

2023-10-16 21:58:26 +0000 UTCoh BOY HERE WE GO! i've watched this series a good 3-4 times at least, and there's so much i could say about it, but that'd be an endless comment, so i'll try to keep it.....medium-sized lmao: 1. the great thing about haikyuu is that it's a really beginner-friendly anime. the series takes its time to explain how things work without making it seem too complicated, so even if you start it knowing next to nothing about volleyball, you'll get the hang of it over time. 2. one aspect this series excels at IMO is the characters. there's LOTS of them which, at first, can be a bit overwhelming, but nearly everyone plays a role at one point or another. it's very easy to get a feel for their personalities, from the main cast down to characters that only get one or two short appearances every couple episodes, and what i love the most: nobody gets forgotten! those characters you see for a single episode that seem like one-offs? chances are you'll meet them again later! whether you want to or not, chances are you'll end up getting so attached to everyone that you'll even be rooting for the opposite teams every now and then. and last but not least...the chants. almost every school has their chanting, and they're all so fun. anyway, so much for medium sized, hope you & live are having an amazing day/night!
