2023-08-12 02:32:41 +0000 UTCPitou’s gender is meant to be ambiguous (non-binary or androgynous), they are pretty feminine presenting, yet the only official statement regarding Neferpitou's gender refers to Neferpitou with he/him pronouns. In the manga, Neferpitou's chest is way flatter than in the anime. The other Ants call them Lord Pitou, not Lady Pitou. Neferpitou's name comes from the Egyptian god Nefertem and a female panther character from France called Pitou Kalluto (Killua’s younger sibling) is also a boy, but I won’t go into detail to avoid spoilers

They all have their own stuff going on, and most of them probably have no idea. Netero CHOSE not to tell the world what was happening there and to go himself, but it has been mostly kept under wraps. Aura is basically life energy, training it will naturally give you health benefits, that's why hunters like Netero can be so agile and healthy while being older than a human's typical lifespan. Enhancers can even heal injuries. Even if he is not an enhancer, he can still use enhancement effects at lower capabilities. Nen passively strengthens the body, so it's fairly safe to assume that recovery and maybe blood production etc are also enhanced, that's why Gon's recovery ability is even better than Killuas.
