2025-08-06 21:06:24 +0000 UTCIf David cane back it would have been as a construct. But you should play cyberpunk now that it's fully realized. Getting to fight Adam yourself and getting to bottom is soulkiller is worth it. And I can't spoil but David can't become a construct after that

2022-10-15 03:12:23 +0000 UTCI know how much you loved David's emotional voice acting. You should go back and watch the Demon Slayer Mugen Train movie. David's va is also Tanjiro's va and he's one of my favorite english voice actors. The emotion he portrays through his voice is insane to me, and his emotional outburst towards Akaza after his fight with Rengoku shook me, it was heart breaking. (also just for the lols, that rookie they picked up that blew himself up? his va is also the va for Inosuke AND Eren Yeager in the English dub)

2022-10-14 16:58:50 +0000 UTCThere's a small questline in the game that appeared after the show aired, Rewards you with David's jacket, You're contacted by Falco (Yes McCree) telling you not to try and contact them. It's pretty short and basic but it let's you know that they do intend for this to be the ending. David went down in NC as a Legend, Got his drink named after him in the afterlife. All in All, the game is worth playing now, but it's nothing like the anime, You'll be disappointed if you go into it after the anime, Same as Arcane/LoL I think if they do any more anime like this they'll be from the other two storyline choices we have in the game. David being the Streetkid, meaning the next two would be Corpo and Nomad. If they're done half as well at this then they're gonna be fantastic!

2022-10-11 14:26:22 +0000 UTCWatched it along with you a couple days ago, enjoyed every minute of it. The last several minutes I was just kinda speechless, empty sort of feeling afterwards. Ngl next day I would tear up whenever the YT algorithm hit me with that song or clips from the ending. Still a better ending than I thought it would turn out to be. My original theory was that David would go cyber psycho in the end, kill Becca in his insanity, come to, and then Lucy would have to mercy kill him or something. I think last time I teared up watching an anime was certain scenes from Violet Evergarden and Re:Zero. Hope they explore more of this universe at least in the future.

2022-10-10 23:26:08 +0000 UTCyo if you like the studio that made this its totally worth checking out some of their other shows like Kill La Kill, Promare, and Little Witch Academia. also before they formed this studio they also worked on shows like Gurren Lagann, FLCL, and Re: Cutie Honey. they are all amazing shows with similar quality to Edgerunners though usually a bit more light hearted and ridiculous.
