Preference for 2nd monthly poll?

Since this is currently experimental, I'm still not quite 100% sure how best to go about this.
The first January poll has already finished, but I would like to set up a second recurring one for the month (meaning 2 polls + pics for each month).
The first poll structure will stay the same, but for the second one I was thinking of setting it up where patrons would vote on the series itself rather than the character, and then setting up a follow up poll only using characters from that series.
Thinking it over a bit, this might be a bit too convoluted so I'm gathering feedback as to what you would prefer for this 2nd monthly poll.
The options (or suggest something if you think it might work better):
-Keep the second poll as described above (no change)
- Would be set up as: Vote on a series you want to have a pic drawn from --->
Vote on a character from said series
-Make a fresh 2nd poll with different characters entirely
- I'll throw in a batch of characters to vote from, $20+ patrons will be allowed to
influence the character selection pool as they do with the 1st monthly poll
(basically 2x of the same poll format per month)
-Just use 2nd place of 1st poll results
- 1 poll per month of this type, but will draw 2 (maybe 3 if time permits) chars
from the same poll (e.g., Yoruichi was this month's poll winner with 16 votes,
Rias came in second with 12 votes, so I would just use that poll result and
draw a pic for 2nd place. Rias, in this case).
