Bit of bad news
Added 2022-09-28 22:08:37 +0000 UTCSo I've spent the last couple of days trying everything I could to fix my laptop. I took the advice you guys gave me, I watched several videos, experimented with the settings, tried to reset the laptop, etc. I've given it up as a lost cause, especially since it is a fairly old laptop.
What this means is that I will have to get a new laptop, unfortunately I am in the middle of some personal things and I need to save my money so I won't be able to get a new laptop for a while, maybe a few weeks or couple of months. So from now on I have to write up and paste everything without a mouse, which is possible but a bit longer and more irritating. I was originally going to write something up today but I was so annoyed that I had to put the laptop away before I ended up throwing it at a wall.
Luckily I started killing people so I felt better afterwards. 😌

In Uncharted, the PlayStation game Uncharted, that's where I was killing people. Not in real life.....yet.
Anyway, I will start writing a chapter for magical spider tommrow and I will try and post it on the same day for you guys. I will do my best to put out chapters when I can, though it will likely be slower than before (at least until i get new laptop), sorry.
Anyway, it's nearly midnight where I am so I'm going to head to sleep now. Thank you all for the help you've provided, especially Daniel Appel, you've all been brilliant.

I just had to buy a new laptop myself recently. My old one was a decade old and was so slow, damn updates. All i ever used it for was college, so mostly word. I never even used internet explorer unless for research purposes. What about instead of a new laptop you get a wireless mouse from Logitech their like 20 bucks and you just plug in a usb. Sorry if this was unhelpful
