"Harry Potter will be coming to Hogwarts," Dumbledore told his staff members during their latest staff meeting.
"Have you lost your mind?!" Snape blurted out.
"Depends on who you ask, really." Dumbledore shrugged.
"Potter can't come here!" Snape looked like Dumbledore had just asked Snape to sacrifice an arm. "He's a squib."
"I am well aware of that, Severus," Dumbledore said in a calm voice. "but that does not change anything."
"Albus, I for one am glad that Mr Potter will be coming to Hogwarts," Professor McGonagall began. "but that doesn't mean that I think it is a good idea to bring him here."
"Yes, YES!" Snape nodded quickly, glad that somebody agreed with him. "Potter can't even study here, we can't teach him magic."
"Incorrect, Severus, we cannot teach him any wand based magic," Dumbledore corrected. "there are still plenty of things we can teach him such as Herbology, ancient runes and even..."
"No, no, don't you say it!"
"Potions." Dumbledore finished with a smile.
Scene 2:
"So Potter," Draco said as he and his friends stopped next to Harry and the others that were waiting outside of the great hall. "I'm surprised they let you into Hogwarts."
"They didn't 'let' me in," Harry rolled his eyes. "Dumbledore made me come." Harry couldn't entirely keep all of the annoyance out of his voice as he thought about Dumbledore forcing him to go. Harry honestly thought that the old man was lucky that Harry's teachers hadn't decided to take out the older man, and he knew that they had thought about it.
"Not surprised," This time it was Draco that rolled his eyes. "the old muggle loving fool."
"Yeah." Harry simply nodded in agreement.
"Either way, you shouldn't be here." Draco continued.
"Yeah, well...what are you going to do about it?" Harry sighed, not entirely sure what Draco wanted him to do.
"What am I going to do?" Draco laughed. "I think there are a ton of things I can do." He clicked his fingers, Crabbe and Goyle slammed their fists into their palms as they took steps forwards.
"Did you two practise that?" Harry blinked, clenching his fist, ready to go for their throats the second that they got ready to throw a punch.
"Is there a problem gentlemen?" Professor Flitwick asked as he arrived on the scene.
"No Professor," Harry and Draco said at the same time before they each sent each other a look that quite clearly said that this was not over.
"Hmm, good."
Scene 3:
Harry lay down on his bed, reading one of his comic books. Harry's roommates had learnt a few things about Harry over the years, firstly he did not like getting loudly woken up and would often respond with violence or passionate rants in response. Secondly, he did not like people touching or moving his stuff without permission, thirdly he WILL know if somebody touches or moves his stuff without permission. Fourthly, while you shouldn't touch his regular stuff, you most definitely don't touch his favourite stuff, which was anything his guardians had left him and his comic books. After the last time one of his roommates messed with his comic books, they realised that they would be more likely to live longer and healthier if they don't touch them.
To anybody else, it seemed like Harry was simply reading, but internally his mind was running at full speed. If anyone ever said that comic books weren't useful, then they should look into Harry's mind. If the death eaters knew what was happening then they likely would have done their best to stop him from reading more.
"That does seem possible," Harry said to himself as he looked at the page in front of him. "it would need at least three runes, but it does seem possible. I think I'll try it out on Malfoy Manor."
Scene 4:
"Miss Greengrass," Harry walked up to Astoria. "I'm sorry to disturb you, but I was wondering if you had a date for the yule ball."
"Um..." Astoria blinked and stared at him. "...I don't."
"Hmm, well, I was wondering if you would be willing to let me take you to the ball."
"I'm sorry," Astoria apologised, she knew that she wouldn't be able to. Between the marriage contract, her father had signed and the pressure being put on her, there was no way that she would be allowed to go with him. "I..."
"Look at this," Malfoy laughed as he walked in. "Potter, you think that you can go to the ball with Astoria?!" He laughed loudly, putting his arm around Astoria who stiffened slightly.
"I wasn't asking you, Malfoy." Harry glared at the blonde boy.
"It doesn't matter," Malfoy smirked. "I'm answering on her behalf. She is a pretty pureblood from a respectable family, you are a pathetic little squib from a family that lost whatever respect it had when your father married your mudblood mother. Besides, you must not have heard, Miss Greengrass is my fiancee." His smirk grew. Harry's eyes flickered over to Astoria who didn't attempt to tell him that Draco was lying.
"Draco," Astoria spoke up. "you don't need to be so rude to him, he..."
"Ah, Astoria, so caring," Draco laughed. "trust me, I'm being nicer than Potter deserves. He's a stupid squib born from a stupid bitch that would have been better served as my..." Whatever Draco was about to say was cut off by a punch to the nose that sent him straight down to the floor.
