When they fall asleep at the breast…

Whether nursing as shown above or bottle feeding from pumping, whatever your choice is on how to feed your baby, (although breastfeeding in my opinion when medically possible is best) holding the child close to the chest where they can hear our heartbeats and nuzzle up is the most comforting place for them.
It is common for the child nursing or being held close to the chest to fall asleep so preciously.
Always make sure their airway is clear and follow the instructions of your doctor on cosleeping for safety. Nature intended us to nurture our babies and hold them close. It’s in our DNA. It’s in our pheromones we give off for babies to smell their parents and feel safe.

A tip for daddy‘s or grandmas or whoever’s watching the baby today:
Keep an item of clothing that has been worn by mommy close by the infant when cuddling them in your arms so they can feel as if mommy is close. The scent of the mother releases endorphins for the baby to feel calm and happy. Unless they are hungry of course then feed them! 🥰
(Please make sure that all clothing and other items and things are kept away from the baby in the crib or wherever the baby might be resting for safety.
Never place the clothing over the babies face always make sure their airway is clear. )
