If you’re currently a breast-feeding mother or you’re thinking about breast-feeding your baby there are a few things that I would like to tell you ahead of time to prepare you for what to expect. (Especially if you decide to extended breastfeed)
Before the oxytocin kicks in you might have to deal with fighting jealousy and other things that come along with being the mother of two toddlers! If you only have one it will be a lot easier for you! Lol 😂
One great thing about sitting down to breast-feed my toddlers is that after a few minutes of them on the breast fighting over me and crying over who’s source of milk was the favorite and who got the favorite side, the kicking and the hair pulling, that oxytocin will kick in for all of us. Once the oxytocin kicks in, the little ones calm down and become much more well behaved and mommy also breathes a nice sigh of relief when the stress flows out of the body and we can all enjoy a more quiet productive quality moment together.
Cheers to oxytocin!
