Fitness with toddlers...

Breast-feeding and fitness with toddlers...please read the captions of the pictures to learn how to stretch and exercise with your toddlers. Please always consult your doctor or OB-Gyn before starting any type of exercise program even if you are or not pregnant or postpartum your doctor will know when you can begin to exercise.

after postpartum usually it’s about six weeks depending on whether it was a vaginal birth or a Cesarean section birth. Cesarean section births may take longer to heal so please get the ok from your doctor before trying any of these exercises and please do so at your own risk.

These are exercises I do to maintain flexibility and they can also help keep you limber when pregnant. During pregnancy women are more flexible so please take that into consideration that it is easier to become injured if you overstretch during pregnancy so be careful use caution and go at your own pace

only stretch until you feel a nice comfortable stretch and hold for at least 20 seconds. you never want to be in pain during stretching this can lead to an injury. A light warm up of toe to toe touching or back leg lifts to warm up muscles is recommended before a stretch routine. It loosens the muscles to prepare for stretching and becoming more flexible. Daily stretching can lead to better flexibility longer leaner muscles and better overall health. If you’d like to see this video please upgrade to tier 3 or 4.
