To maintain a good milk supply we need carbohydrates. Good carbohydrates can consist of hummus, beans, high-fiber bread, oatmeal, quinoa and other ancient super foods. There is also something called brewers yeast that tremendously helps with breastmilk supply this can be added to foods or drinks without having the alcoholic beverages such as beer. I have bought oatmeal that contain brewers yeast that is for lactation support and on this diet if I see a drop in my milk supply I would just have a portion of that oatmeal a small portion and add some protein to it such as nuts nutbutter, hemp heart seeds and so many other full protein sources. I’m limiting my portion sizes and today for lunch I had sliced cucumber with a little bit of the skin on them some leafy greens which are great for health and breastmilk a gluten free high fiber tortilla spinach flavor and I love the Thai curry hope hummus it is one of my favorites it is so yummy and that is my protein the tortilla is my carb and I can have as many vegetables as I want it has been working I’ve officially lost 5 pounds and did not see any decrease in my breastmilk supply. 💕💕💕I’ll be sharing more of my diet meals with you as I go. See you tomorrow 👍🏼🌱🤱
