Gestational diabetes...

Gestational diabetes when pregnant can lead to type two diabetes if you’re not careful. I had gestational diabetes while pregnant with my second child. I started to feel flutter like things in my blood after I would eat something with sugar in it and as I’m sure you all know my favorite addiction of frozen yogurt so I decided to test my blood sugar. My fasting blood sugar was in the pre-diabetes range which is (this is an educated guess hypothesis) around 60% more likely to get type two diabetes. A good thing is that if I decrease my weight by 15% I can reduce those chances tremendously. What I have done is taking the gestational diabetes diet that I was on while I was pregnant and put that into affect in my life today. This consists of eating an amount of protein with any carbohydrate that I decide to eat and eat carbohydrates that have a lot of fiber in order to not digest into your bloodstream as much glucose. The effort here is to not spike my blood sugar into the high range. I am happy to report it has been working and I wanna share my diet and what I’ve been eating with all of you here on patron so that if you’re having this issue as well male or female maybe it can help you get your blood sugar back to normal ranges and be healthier preventative measures to stop you from getting type 2 diabetes. Dieting is very difficult when you are also a breast-feeding mom so I’m going to share with you the things that I eat and the way that I control my blood sugar and still be able to keep an abundant milk supply.
