Does Tandem nursing affect my milk supply? YES!
Added 2020-06-19 07:19:52 +0000 UTCSome mommies have asked me if they tandem nurse will the older child drink all the milk leaving not enough for the baby. NOT TRUE. Tandem nursing creates a bigger supply and demand and tricks the body into believing you have twins. Breasts continue to make an abundance more milk when tandem feeding as opposed to separate feedings. Also my older child (she’s just yesterday turned 3!) has stronger suction which stimulates better milk flow and she gets off the breast faster causing a better and faster let down for the baby. So don’t worry mommies, your milk will be even more abundant and plentiful when you tandem nurse. 💕💕💕
