After we look back on the Simpsons news of the last few weeks like Halloween eps and NFL crossovers, we look back on the movies/TV/games we used as escapism in these dark times before heading out on a vacation for the rest of this Thanksgiving month. Then we reply to some of our favorite comments as usual, so listen in and commiserate in our monthly community pod!

Hope you guys cover the NFL/Simpsons crossover. I thought it was fun (rough voices from Nancy and Yeardly aside) and Mina Kimes proved herself to be a dedicated fan. She got her co-host with a “Hugh Jass” joke before the game (check her Instagram)

2024-11-28 07:25:22 +0000 UTCI associate Christmas a lot with edgy cartoon sitcoms so I’m glad you guys are doing B&B this year. There’s kind of a storied history with edgy toons and Christmas. The Simpsons premiered as a Christmas special, South Park has a history with Christmas shorts, Beavis and Butthead obviously had a great Christmas special, Rick and Morty first aired around Christmas and had a Christmas special early on. It also helps that every year I see these shows merchandised a lot as easy gifts to give 18-50 year old guys.
