What A Cartoon! - The November 2021 Schedule

We hope all of you had a fun Halloween weekend, and are ready for the holiday season to begin, because that's about to arrive here on the Talking Simpsons Network! We've got so many great podcasts coming your way in November: the third and final Garfield holiday special, the last of the premiere night of Adult Swim shows we've yet to cover, AND we're closing the month with a true Xmas classic. Lastly, don't forget, $5 and up patrons will get to hear the Talking Futurama podcast about "Insane in the Mainframe" on the second Monday of this month!

And just in case you missed our big news: our Fall 2021 miniseries, Blabbin 'Bout Batman: The Animated Series is LIVE! In case the title didn't give it away, on this new weekly podcast series, we'll be talking about Batman: The Animated Series—specifically, our ten favorite episodes. And you can only hear it by signing up for the Talking Simpsons Patreon at the $5 level or higher. We've done Garfield's Halloween and Garfield's Christmas, so it's time for us to finish the trilogy with the 1989 special that was the end of an era for the fat orange tabby. It's an interesting mix about America's boundless consumption, predictable jokes about dieting, bad dates with veterinarians, and motorcycle-riding grandma. All that and a silly song listing Thanksgiving food in one podcast!

The Brak Show - "President Dad" [Patreon: 11/15/21 - Free Feed: 11/22/21]

Across almost four years of What A Cartoon, we have covered every show in the original Adult Swim lineup SAVE ONE! And now, just in time for its 20th anniversary, we're going to cover the Space Ghost spin-off, The Brak Show. We dig into the lovably weird adventures of Brak, Zorak, Thunderclese, Mom, and Dad in the classic season 2 ep, President Dad!

An Extended Free Preview of What A Cartoon Movie for Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer [Patreon: 11/29/21 - Free Feed: 12/6/21]

You know Dasher, and Dancer, and... you know what? These days everyone knows Rudolph way better than all of the other reindeer, and it's because of this iconic first Christmas TV special. We go all the way back to 1964 for the very first Rankin-Bass Xmas special, digging into how this hour-long film wormed its way into the heart of the nation, how it's actually a Japanese production, and so much more as we begin the holidays in earnest with this story of misfits!

And remember: $5 patrons and folks on the free feed will hear an extended preview of the podcast, but if you want the whole thing (and access to all other episodes of What A Cartoon Movie) you'll have to bump your subscription up to the $10 level.
