I fell down the Ain’t It Cool News rabbit hole as a result of the mention and HOO BOY! I can’t imagine what being a nerd in the 2000’s was like. That shit must’ve sucked

I was playing Frederick Frankenstein in a community theatre production of Young Frankenstein. In the climax of the show my character was to be hanged, to be brought back to life by the monster. But we were not comfortable with it and didn't have the expertise to safely stage the scene. So the director was going to cut it and work an alternate way to the ending. But I had recently watched this movie again, and I remember how they censored it. So I asked the director what if instead I was electrocuted, which would thematically fit decently! So I died just like The PG Joker.
