2025-04-04 01:26:51 +0000 UTCThis episode makes me think that the Arcane, as an entity, wills the good of all people. Because the Arcane sent Ekko and Jayce to exactly where they needed to be to derive the lesson they needed. Ekko needed to be able to forgive Jinx in order to save her, and then, with her help, save everyone. Jayce needed to be able to understand Viktor's regret and sorrow at his megalomania, in order to be able to do what was necessary to stop him. Heimerdinger....what a beautiful sendoff for him. The little homie gets a sweet song and an absolutely heroic ending. And yeah, maybe he's whisked off into a totally different dimension where he invents turrets and T-Hex's.....or maybe he's just gone. I happen to think he is just gone. Mostly because there has been so much plot armor for this entire show, we can't be too precious about it when the plot armor starts to fall. SO GOOD!!! The dreampop soundtrack was particularly gorgeous and a very welcome pivot into new sonic territory for the show. They just don't miss.
