The concept of Time here was visualized as a loop, never ending. He Who Remains has seen all of time over and over. Like he said, he's seen and tried millions of things to avoid the multiversal war and the TVA was the best way to keep that from happening. Keep a tight reign on the timeline and it can be cruel, but, in his viewpoint/experience, everything burns otherwise. Yes, the decision Sylvie made does have repercussions throughout the MCU. It is to show...the Multiverse...is coming. We will see He Who Remains' variant(s) going forward in movies. He will be, probably, the big bad of the new phase(s), like Thanos was for the first 3 phases.
What do I believe? I believe in free will for myself...but, given the choice He Who Remains gave Loki and Sylvie, I'm not sure what I'd choose...if the whole universe MULTIVERSE was in the balance. I might choose to try to keep an eye on it and keep it going rather than risk trillions of lives and the possible destruction of all universes. I don't know. But, personally, I'd rather make my own mistakes and being in charge would mean I'd be stopping trillions of others from making their own mistakes. The multiverse is certainly terrifying, but that's what makes it interesting and fun for US to watch. :-D I've never cared for the idea of destiny and much preferred the idea that we create our own destiny and not having it predetermined. Then again, if it all was predetermined, it's not like any of us would know. That is, until some being outside of time tells us so. Tells us that someone else is pulling the strings and stopping you from doing what you want (like the TVA). But, just because someone can be outside of time, as we know it, doesn't mean things are predetermined, just that we've already made all of our decisions.
Thanks for all you do, Blue.

From the first episode to this one I’ve loved how much you engaged with the show. From your previous reactions to the Thor and Avengers movies that featured Loki I expected no less.
Season 2 of Loki is going into production in July so hopefully we’ll get more Loki / Hiddleston next year.
Absolutely loved these Loki reactions from you.
Oh, and your intro to this one was amazing. Loved it.
Thank You Blue.
