2022-04-17 20:52:21 +0000 UTCYou say that Peter/Spider-Man should choose which crimes he pursues, but how do you choose? Which ones are not worth pursuing? Everyone thought, in the first movie, that letting that criminal go served the guy right who cheated Peter out of his money, but letting that guy go resulted in Ben's death. That guy seemed less dangerous than those guys in this movie he was chasing in the car that were firing guns and wrecking police cars. They were endangering people left and right. If he let those guys go, they could've mowed down someone, could've mowed down Aunt May. But, it really doesn't matter if he knows the person or not. Is it more important to see your friend in a play or save lives? Responsibility takes sacrifice. It's why it can be a pain in the ass and Peter has "great responsibility."
