This is a fantastic movie, but it's so hard to watch. I'm glad I got to see it with you. The man who left the rose on Schindler's grave and was standing there at the end was the actor who played him. It was Liam Neesan himself.

War was essential for Schindlers business since he provided field kitchen equipment for the most par, so without War his business wouldn't have been thriving that much. When they were at the trainstation. Schindler basically threatened those 2 guys to get sent to the eastern front which was by far the most horrible front in WW2 and everybody was scared about getting sent there. Interesting for me to see someone outside of Germany watching this movie. I have seen it for the first time when I was about...10 or smth. Have seen it many times by now Perfect example what heavy indoctrination can do to people, they can be made to see fellow humans as a lesser species. We should not make the error to think they were monsters or something. No they were humans, like us. Because if you portrait them like something else than human, you can easily think stuff like this can't happen again. It can definitely because all of them were humans.

It is a fantastic example of storytelling whitout glossing over what horrible things happened during the war. Schindler was an oportunist that sought out to take advantage of the war to make himself rich and famous. But as time went by his consience cought up with him. He atempted several businesses after the war but was never successful and he died broke and alone, which is really sad. I knew that this would be a rough one but I also think that this movie is one that everyone should watch, at least once in their lifetime. During the most horrific and most emotional parts of the movie I just wish I could reach out and give you a hug. You have a good heart, Blue.
