Bright Lord and the it's future

Hi guys! I am still taking a break off. After this post goes live 5 euro patrons will get access to the game. I fixed some grammar mistakes and some renders.

I will now address the elephant in the room. I didnt want to deal with this while I am taking a break, but now I think it's the best time to address the issue. 

I want to thank XerxesBlack (co-writer) for all his work he has done with Bright Lord and I hope he will do better than me with his project.  When it was summer my coder left the adult industry. And I started looking for a new coder. There were about +10 coders that wanted to work with me. They had a lot of experience, but only one stood out by his ability to communicate, working manners, and experience. And fuck me how I am happy that I choose him. So after that, I did some research and came to the conclusion that I need to change something Let's be honest with my 0.1 release my art was "Meh", but with every release, I learned new stuff. I may sound like an asshole here, but the funding I get from this project is pretty important for me, it covers my day today, and especially it gives me a chance to afford new assets, paid tutorials, subscription to post-production programs of course I use some programs that are pirated, but if they start becoming essential to me I buy them so the tool I am using is up to date. So where I am going. I saw that I need a change to my project. I need to change everything. Phase 2, new coder, new co-writer, new programs.

 I wanted need to start fresh. There was no update in almost 4 months. Everyone forgot about my game and It was the best time to change things. I didn't want to fire Xerxes, I still thought maybe he wants to help me with the sex scenes, but he probably doesn't want to share his work with anyone. To be honest the change was inevitable. My and Xerxes views sometimes were different. I am highly against NTR stuff, but there were some of his edits that made some scenes look like it. For example, Chloe's scene where she comes back from a photo shooting. I wrote that she doesn't like the idea her exposed butt will be seen by everyone. Xerxes edit made that she got aroused by the thought that a bunch of guys will see her almost naked in magazines. I dont know if this stuff can be rated NTR. But I dislike it very much. There were random dialogs added where the girls speak like a whore. For example when Emily and Margarie where going home from the cloth shop and they spoke about what things Margarie has done with her husband. For being a shy girl Emily in my writing she doesn't want to hear any of that. In Xerxes edits, she enjoys it and gets aroused. There were many instances where the edits didn't fit the story and characters. But I took it as a brainstorm thingy where he writes his ideas and I decided if the edits fit the story. But let's just think straight I need to work with someone who is in the same direction I am. Xerxes is a good writer but not for my project. He is really experienced in XXX comics, but his style of writing doesn't fit my VN. So that being said he helped me a lot with my project, but if I want to reach my best I need to make changes that could hurt other people's feelings. 

As for my new co-writer -melody. I like her making girls feel like girls. plus she knows something about coding, so after her edits, I can safely port changes to the game without breaking the game. I gave Xerxes edited script and Melody's edited script to my proofreaders and old patrons. And they all like Melody's edits more. So I am pretty happy with her. 

If you think the story or how the girls behave will change. Then you are wrong. I was always the one who wrote the dialogs. I was the one who made all the scenes. You will notice that the writing style has changed and I am happy with it.

So that being said. I am forever grateful to Xerxes for his help. But as a BOSS I have to make decisions that can make someone angry or hurt his feelings.
