What a crazy series! I love it so far! I really want more with Wreck – if he’s dead (most likely) it’s so sad, because I wanted to see more of him in this! It’s such a tragedy, his backstory! Moon and Lin Ling being “trapped” together was so funny, and I’m glad they bonded, but the concept is still pretty messed up. I don’t think we’ll see anymore of Moon, though - it truly seemed she was wanting to be normal and “free” of Nice, so unless Lin Ling walks away at the end of the series and goes and finds her, I doubt we’ll see her again. But I kind of like that – relationships and friendships don’t always HAVE to end in a romantic or sexual relationship. I guess we’ll see! Now, the body horror of Lin Ling becoming “more like” Nice – or how people portray him to be?! I really hope that Lin Ling is able to keep himself separate from the hero he’s playing as! I am digging this series so much and I can’t wait to see the curveballs that Li Haoling throws at us with it! 😀 Thanks for the comment!

And yes, Wreck being so in pain but it turning him yandere? So good! And yessss, then you have Lin Ling and Moon! I actually love that Moon DID NOT romantically love him, because it makes so much sense in the context of the show and translates into a nice message of – just because you’re nice (no pun intended) it does not mean someone is going to romantically love you back. 2026-02-21 01:28:02 +0000 UTCSomething I want to add to Moon is that she actually uses her full name "潇月卿/Xiao Yueqing" (not sure if it's her real name) as her hero name too in the Chinese and Japanese version, as most other hero characters who appear in the series would either just have hero names or have their hero names and full names separated, instead of shortening her full name into her hero name (月/Moon). I think that this might be because Moon's full name, Xiao Yueqing, isn't as easy to memorize as someone like Lin Ling in the west, and how Moon uses her full name instead of a dedicated hero name in the story is related to how she started as a travel blogger; so they opt for using just Moon throughout the story in the English version, while Lin Ling still uses his full name when it's mentioned. Moon's full name is also interesting if you have separated it by individual characters. 潇/Xiao means clear and deep water or unrestrained personality, 月/Yue means moon or elegant and unreachable, 卿/Qing means high-class individual or widely anticipated by people.

2026-02-20 18:10:29 +0000 UTCThis series continues to be so full of surprises in all the best ways xD Wreck is a character that I was not expecting to get in this series but I enjoyed so much. His relationship with Nice is so tragic, and it made me genuinely so sad that he had to find out that Nice was dead in such a way. Moon and Lin Ling being trapped together was messed up... but truly hilarious. i loved the way they bonded and how they got to know each other a little better. i want to see more of Moon and Lin Ling, and see where their little friendship leads; I think they could make a really cute couple if given the time and space. Which brings me to something that I like, that for all that the trust seems to be making Lin Ling more and more like Nice - to the point that he is starting to hace OCD tendencies and a higher perfectionism, they are still very distinct people. Nice liked Wreck, nobody can convice me that there wasn't something there with the way we see them interact in those flashbacks; but Lin Ling likes Moon so adorably. They're their own people, separate, as much as Ms. J is trying to make them the same. Oh, yeah, trust Li Haoling to make a story that seems pretty simple and straightforward at the beginning have a lot of complexity to it. The whole way in which Trust works is fascinating, and a very interesting commentary on our own society. I love to have all these different layers to play with.

Immediately fell in love with how yandere-ish he came with that "if I can't have you, no one can" and then at the end he cried all pretty. I love it SO MUCH!! And then Lin Ling x Moon, like, damn, love them as well. I love that it didn't end up in romance (I know sme other shows where Moon probably would have fallen in love with him) 'cuz taken the context of forced confinement and forced marriage, it would have been pretty iffy. But, just because it was good for canon, doesn't mean it was good for my shipper brainnn. But thankfully, my shipper brain has a skill of imagination. >:D can't wait for next week !! <3
