I love how much on each page there is to look at!! And Keito and Aoi are winning my heart! I'm excited we have volume 2 this coming week and then will have a Volume 3 waiting for us! :D

I'm just glad it's NOT sleet and ice -- we had that massive ice storm last year and I was not about that again. Snow is at least more...manageable, but thank you! I hope that your ice melts relatively quickly and you all stay safe out in it! I could EASILY see learning sign language as something fit for healthcare! And wow, learning Chinese sounds so hard -- I wanted to learn Japanese, but my brain is so hardwired for English grammar -- adding on another tree; I wish my mind would take to it better! But maybe some day! Thank you for the comment!

Another new discovery, hadnβt heard of this one until it came up for Januyaoi, very excited to check out something new. π₯° Agreed, the mangaka is just flexing with all the focus on the hands! π I adore the art and how expressive this work is, too, in both facial expressions and body language (even beyond the sign language). Lots to read into across all the panels. This was a beautiful volume and Keito and Aoi are just precious. Am looking forward to the next volume! π

2026-01-27 12:42:07 +0000 UTCReading along! A silent voice is fantastic! I loved this! Iβm ready for volume 2! Hope you are staying warm since you guys are now buried in a few feet of snow. Itβs been sleeting all day and it will freeze to a nice crust of ice so we are not going anywhere! I count us as fortunate as others are under inches of ice. I thought of learning sign language since Iβm in healthcare, it would be useful! Iβve looked into it but I am still trying to learn Chinese! Iβm just not a natural language learner. Husband tried to teach me, but it was just easier to communicate in English.

When I worked at the hospital concierge, I met someone who can't hear, and someone who can't see I slowly learned sign language and she who can't hear always seemed happy to see my sloppy one I learned some diarect, too I like it a lot especially to express the area that has a navy base if I move my fingers to express usual three around my sleeve, then it expresses the area which came from the uniform of navy (self defense force) And in the nomal sign Japanese language, thank you came from Sumo gesture I stopped leaning when I quite the job, but I love to see sign language with various face expressions! I can't wait next week! They are too cute and precious!
