CHIHAYAFURU Season 2: Episode 13 FULL LENGTH Reaction!

*GROUP LOVE HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

The match with Akashi reaches a fever pitch, as this episode focuses on Ace vs. Ace: Mugumu vs. Chihaya! Both have different "end goals," but one thing is sure for both: Their teams are there to back them up! This was such a good episode, with lots to theorize about as we reach the climax of the Semifinals!

CHIHAYAFURU Season 2: Episode 13 FULL LENGTH Reaction!

I loved learning about Megumu’s inner workings; yessss! Hahaha, I just love to poke fun at Taichi - the mangaka and I would probably get along! πŸ˜›I think I’m just jaded because him worrying about Chihaya HAS derailed in him the past, so I’m glad it didn’t get him off in this episode – PROGRESS. And yes, it’s good Taichi is realizing that yes, Chihaya has grown! I love the investment both teams have towards their aces as well yes! And yes, that would be a great starting point for her, indeed. And yeah, it could be that she wants to be queen but is holding herself back; that’s a great point and I hadn’t thought of it that way! Thank you for noting that and for the comment!

This was such a good episode that really builds the tension between both teams, especially Chihaya and Megumu! And the support from both sides is so good to see! I love this for Chihaya, like you pointed out! Thank you so much for the comment! <3

This was such an interesting episode learning more about Megumu and her inner workings. I definitely can tell that teasing Taichi and giving him a hard time is going to become a staple of these reactions because my boy was doing great this episode and still had to take heat. I think it's fine if he worries about Chihaya as long as it doesn't derail him which it didn't in this episode. I particularly loved the scene where he takes in the fact that a whole year has passed and Chihaya has come a long way. I think what's interesting about this episode as you have said is that both teams have not only put alot of trust in their aces but they both are invested in this one member becoming Queen. I think despite Megumu saying she doesn't want to strive to be Queen I hope she does realize that the fact that she wants to win for another person sake is a starting point and as long as she will do her best because of that motivation she'll be fine I don't think every character in this story needs to see Chihaya or Arata or whoever it is and go I want to be Queen or Master I think it's fine if Megumu doesn't want to be Queen but she needs to be motivated to do her best. It's interesting to see her waver a bit because of Chihaya I wonder if deep down she wants to be Queen but she holds herself back. Chihaya really is on fire this episode and I'm looking forward to the next episode

What an episode. I had a ton of fun with this match between Chihaya and Megumu. I love how this time around it is the teams that have to raise up and up their games to support their aces, because they are in a very heated game themselves. Chihaya seeing Megumu and realizing that she is what she, Chihaya, was is such a cool moment. All that talent and speed, but a little aimless and a little driveless, it truly reminds me of Chihaya in early season 1. Just as it reminded me of that Chihaya's match against Sakura, and her words "it's good my oponent is only has speed"; and while I think Megumu has more than just speed, it does seem that she lacks the control and accuracy that Chihaya has been working for so hard. Megumu is a real challenge, and it's fun to see her go toe-to-toe against Chihaya.
