It's finally here! Not only the volume that catches us up with where the anime ended, but one fully detailing the process of and leading up to Adachi and Kurosawa's wedding!! I'm so excited to read through this one with you all!

Thank you so much for the comment and kind words - I’m so excited now that we’re getting to the NEW content I haven’t seen before! Rokkaku is just such a good friend! I love that he's so supportive of Adachi and Kurosawa! And how supportive Kurosawa’s sister and friends are as well - along with Adachi’s brother - the tropes work so well in this! That is really telling, too; like you said, with Kurosawa before Adachi and how sad he was. I honestly would be scared to hear those inner thoughts, so I’m glad we only get what Asahino and others share with us instead of getting it first hand - thanks for bringing that up! I’m SO excited to see where the story goes to from here!!

What a wonderful volume! 🥰 Various things I loved: Rokkaku being all excited over how devoted Kurosawa is and inadvertently giving Adachi some more inside scoop 😂 Kurosawa’s sister and friends being very loving, especially the one who’s looking forward to getting to tease Kurosawa Adachi’s baby brother being so protective and ‘bonding’ with Kurosawa, I need more ‘I care about Adachi more!’ comedy stand-offs, please 😂 But also, the mangaka keeps just casually throwing out little crumbs of Kurosawa’s inner life that are heartbreaking. Asahino had great insight: “It was like he expected nothing from people in the first place.” This made me really think about how much of what we were 'hearing,' while Adachi still had powers, was just Kurosawa’s internal monologue at the time being all about Adachi. We heard some of his insecurities and worries, but it was all mostly centred around him being in love. A pre-Adachi Kurosawa likely would have sounded very different if we’d been able to hear him. 🥺 Looking forward to the next volume! 🍒
