We are BACK and it feels like we never left, as this episode IMMEDIATELY picks up where Episode 12 of Season 1 left off (you can call it Episode 13 I guess) -- but wow, I had almost forgotten the weird, dry, wacky humor of DanDaDan...and how much I enjoy it!
This episode takes a bonkers journey for our crew and cranks it up to an eleven...and doesn't give us time to breathe, almost! Welcome back, DanDaDan!

Heyoooo! This summer has FLOWN BY! That’s awesome you’ve enjoyed summer it seems - this has been a good summer, but it’s going by far too fast for my liking - something about getting old and time passing quicker? Not a fan of that. I would agree that I like the second ED better than season 1 - I definitely prefer OP 1 but this one is fun! I’m glad that Okarun’s practice has paid off - hooray for growth for our dude! The show’s already ran through my favorite cryptid (Nessie in Season 1) but that’s awesome! Oohhhhh, I bet in hindsight that the comment was flagged for pointing it out! That’s likely it! It’s definitely menacing in this episode but yeah, that is a really good point - her not reacting at all is…well…not realistic - but anyway, at least it didn’t get as overdone as it could have been – but thank you for joining back this season! I’m really enjoying it so far! Thanks for all the comments!

2025-07-31 20:06:55 +0000 UTCHey back a bit late to this one, been busy with summer stuff and here in Sweden you have to enjoy the summer while you can, not every year we get one worthy of the name "Summer". Hope you've been having a great summer thus far. Yeah there was no competing with the first OP and for me this one doesn't come close, on the other hand i do like this ED better than the first one so there is that. Jiji has been highly active and an athlete his whole life, instead i will give Okarun his due, those lunch break squats seems to really have paid off. Hey it's my favourite cryptid the Mongolian Death Worm, i did spot it on Okaruns magazine last season, but it might have been one of my comments that got flagged as i speculated we might see one in the show later... it was just much sooner than i had thought or suspected. About skirting the line, for me the very first episode in season one wasn't problematic as it was obviously absurd and i never feared the line would be crossed. But here (and by extension last episode last season) they made the sexual assault feel more menacing/real as i think was indicated by Momo not being sexualized (in contrast to the very first episode) instead that made it feel weird to me, how it just resolved itself and didn't make any difference. Momo seemed wholly unaffected by the whole ordeal and returned to the house all happy go lucky, after casually finishing her errands. Guess i just wanted some more gravitas to the situation or something when they made it feel like a real assault. Off to watch your two other reactions for Dandadan so i'm all catched up for when episode four drops.
