[poll] pin back type - next secret shop
Added 2025-06-07 14:32:21 +0000 UTCHi~ I'm considering making pin badges again this time, in preparation for the opening of the Secret Shop in July.
I tried a new pin back - screw type - last time, and I wonder if the people who bought it were satisfied. I know there are more types of pin backs, but I'm going to have it made in the same Korean factory that made it last time, and I'm considering two options. (The basic option is a butterfly clutch, but I know this isn't popular ð)

2025-06-12 14:55:48 +0000 UTCI've never had a screw-back pin until your Shy Shrimp pins, and it's really neat! I wish more folks had this option for pins.

2025-06-11 23:40:12 +0000 UTCThe back of the pin back cap is flat. So maybe it's not as soft as rubber, but it won't be too uncomfortable when rubbed against. If you look closely, you can see the back in the picture, but it's just a flat circle. I'm not sure because it varies from person to person, but it's not as rough as a butterfly clutch.

2025-06-11 07:26:09 +0000 UTCI've never had a pin with a screw back before ð€ I tend to put my pins on bags (not their straps) or on a hat. The rubber back is less harsh on what's in my bag or against my scalp than a butterfly clasp. I've also gotten a few of those slightly pricier locking backs but they're fiddlier to put on/off. But with my hand problems sometimes I have to give up and try again later
